I just approved the Blu-ray box the other day. In a recent interview with I Minutemen, Snyder offered an update on the Batman v Superman IMAX remaster revealing that it will be available to own on Blu-ray and 4K UHD: I’m fine with the new ratio, I just wish I’d be able to watch the film on a true IMAX screen! I’d much rather see the version of this film like that instead of at home. I’ve noticed that a lot of people don’t seem happy with the new 1.43:1 ratio presentation of the upcoming new cut of Justice League, but this video for Batman v Superman shows off what that ratio adds to the visuals. With how busy I was during the holidays, I totally missed this video and never posted it. Last year, during the holidays a video was released showing off the new look of the film and also offered a side-by-side comparison with how the old original film would have looked. Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been going through an IMAX remaster that will be presented in a new 1.43:1 IMAX aspect ratio and will also feature new color grading.
